PupFeed & Community

Share the good bits. Ask about the hard bits.

PupFeed for the photos you would send the group chat anyway. Community for the questions you would rather not ask it. And shared care for everyone who helps look after your dog.

Is 20 weeks too early for a harness?

Pickle is a 20 week old Pomeranian, 2.1 kg, and he pulls like a tiny train on his collar. I keep reading that collars are bad for small necks and also that harnesses teach pulling. Which is it?

A real post, from one of Snootly's sample accounts.

Something else on your mind? Ask us

What is the difference between PupFeed and Community?

PupFeed is for photos and short clips: the good bits of your dog's day, from you and the dogs you follow. Community is for conversation: 13 communities, from New Puppy and Puppy Blues to Gear and Senior Dogs, where you can ask a question with a title, up to four photos and your dog tagged.

Can my family, sitter or dog walker help look after my dog in the app?

Yes. Invite them by email as a co-owner or a caregiver. Everyone opens the same dog: the same day, journal and records. Anything someone else logs shows their name, so you can see that Sam did breakfast. Each person uses their own account and needs their own membership; sharing a dog does not share a subscription.

What can a caregiver do?

A caregiver can see your dog's day and records, log walks, meals, care and training, and edit entries. Deleting entries and inviting or removing people stay with owners and co-owners.

How are PupFeed and Community kept kind?

Posts are checked by automated safety tools and by our moderators, and every video post is also queued for a person to review. You can report a post or comment and block anyone you would rather not hear from. The Community Guidelines on snootly.app set out the house rules in plain words.

Do I need a membership to join in?

Yes. Snootly is a subscription app, and Snootly Pro includes PupFeed, Community and shared care. Eligible Apple Accounts can try it free for 7 days first.
