The Day Designer

Say the day you fancy. Snootly plans it.

Pick how the day should feel and how far you will go. Snootly finds a main stop that suits it, pairs the rest near it or on the way home, and times the drives. Have a go.

Check in

Remember where you have been together.

Save a place, get directions, and check in when you arrive. Your check-ins become a map of your days out, and your reviews tell the next owner what it is really like with a dog.

Good to know

Where the places come from.

  • Public listings such as Google Places
  • Dog friendly directories
  • Curated beach and trail libraries
  • Places the Snootly team adds by hand

Days Out covers the UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. Dog rules, opening hours and seasons change, and a beach that welcomes dogs in March may not in August, so check with the venue before you set off. If something has changed, a review helps the next owner.

Where does Snootly find dog friendly places?

From public listings such as Google Places, dog friendly directories, curated beach and trail libraries, and places the Snootly team adds by hand. Rules, opening times and seasons change, so check with the venue before you set off.

Which areas does Days Out cover?

The UK, Ireland and the Channel Islands. Browse by city covers 16 UK cities, from Edinburgh down to Bournemouth, and everywhere else is on the map and in the close by rail.

How does the Day Designer plan a day?

Pick a goal, say where you are starting, which day and how far you will travel, and add an extra like Rainy day if you need one. Snootly picks a main stop that suits the goal, pairs stops near it or on the way home, times the drives and hands you two or three designed days to choose from. It only uses places that are already in Days Out.

Can I put a day out in my calendar?

Yes. Turn on Add stops to Paw Calendar when you save a day, and each stop appears on that date with its time, alongside your reminders and vet visits.

Can I tell other owners what a place is really like?

Yes. Check in when you visit, then leave a review as your dog's human: an overall rating, what you noticed, like water bowls out or dogs allowed inside, and how calm it felt on a scale from busy to quiet.

Is Days Out part of Snootly Pro?

Yes. Days Out and the Day Designer are part of Snootly Pro, which includes the whole app for every dog on your account. Eligible Apple Accounts can try it free for 7 days.
