Pup Care

Vet visits, vaccines and daily care, all in one place.

Photograph a medicine label or a vaccine book and Snootly reads it for you to check. Set a reminder once and it keeps count. Hand a sitter one sheet with everything they need. Every dog gets their own Pup Care, with the whole history in order.

Daily care

Six small routines. One tap each.

Teeth, nails, ears, eyes, coat and paws sit at the top of every dog's Pup Care, each with a rhythm to aim for, why it matters and how to do it. Done ones ring in teal, overdue ones in amber. Try it on Bertie's.

Daily care

Teeth

Recommended daily

Due, last done 2d ago

Why it matters

Plaque hardens into tartar within days. A quick daily brush is the best way to look after their teeth and gums, and to avoid a bigger clean later.

How to do it

Use a dog toothbrush or finger brush and dog toothpaste, never human paste. Lift the lip and brush in small circles along the gumline, about 30 seconds a side. Build up slowly and reward generously.

Remind me: Daily

General care guidance, not medical advice. If something looks or smells wrong, ask your vet.

Scan a record

Photograph it. Check it. Done.

Point the camera at a medicine label or the pages of a vaccine book. Snootly reads the entries and lays them out for you to check, and nothing is saved until you say so.

Snootly's Scan the med screen, headed Read the medicine, holding one photo of a pharmacy label for Metacam and a Read the page button.
  • Up to five photos in one go
  • English, Turkish and German records
  • You check every entry before it saves
  • Scanned pages filed under Documents

Shots and boosters

Every shot on file. Every booster on the calendar.

Choose the vaccine, add the day it was given, and the next due date can fill itself in from the booster interval. Change it if your vet says otherwise, and Snootly nudges you when it comes round.

Health records

The whole record, one tap away.

Doses, weigh-ins, vet visits, paperwork and the back story, each on its own page and all on the same dog. It is the history you wish you had to hand at the vet's desk.

  • Bertie's Medications page with two active courses, Apoquel given today at 07:41 and Librela monthly, a dose history of 137 doses and two finished courses.

    Medications

Tick a dose as it is given. Every dose lands in the history, and finished courses stay on file.

  • Bertie's Weight trends screen: 13.4 kg, an ideal range of 11 to 15 kg, a chart across the year and a history of weigh-ins.

  • Bertie's Appointments page with an upcoming Librela injection and cardiology recheck, then past visits.

    Appointments

Booked visits first, recent ones behind them. Each one can carry a reminder to prepare.

  • Bertie's Medical history page listing a senior blood profile, a skin fold infection treatment and a cardiology check.

    The back story

    Medical history

Checkups, treatments, exams and events, in order, with the clinic and your notes.

Health setup

Six answers, and the basics are covered.

A new dog's Pup Care asks for six things: the vet, their weight, the last vaccination, any allergies, insurance and an emergency vet. Add them as you go, or ask Snootly's AI instead and answer one question at a time in a chat.

Past that, a short list keeps watch for you: overdue vaccines, boosters due within the month, and a nudge for an older dog who has not seen the vet in a while.

Bertie's Sitter and Walker Sheet in Snootly: nine sections and 25 notes, a Share as PDF card, and a Meet Bertie note about his medicines and routine, then his name, breed, age, sex and weight.

Share the care

Hand over the lead, not a list of instructions.

The Sitter & Walker Sheet is one care sheet per dog, filled in from the records you already keep. Edit what you like, then share it as an A4 PDF with any sitter or walker, whether they use Snootly or not.

Reminders

Tick the reminder. The record writes itself.

Pup Care reminders live on the Paw Calendar with everything else in the day. Ticking off a medication, vaccine or treatment records the dose, the shot or the treatment in your dog's history, repeating reminders included.

A good record keeper. Never the vet.

Snootly keeps the routines, records and reminders in order, so the history is there when you need it. It does not diagnose or treat anything. If you are worried about your dog, call your vet, and out of hours, an emergency vet.

Something else on your mind? Ask us

Can Snootly read my dog's vaccination record?

Yes. Photograph the vaccine pack or the record book pages, up to five photos at a time, and Snootly reads the entries for you. English, Turkish and German records all work. You check and edit every entry before anything is saved, and the photographed pages are filed under Documents.

Will it remind me when boosters and doses are due?

Yes. When you add a vaccine, its next due date can fill itself in from the booster interval, with a reminder for the day it is due. Medications can repeat on the Paw Calendar, and ticking a dose off there records it in your dog's history.

Can my partner or dog sitter see the records?

Anyone you add to your dog's pack as a co-owner or caregiver sees the same Pup Care records and can log care too, using their own account and membership. Only owners and co-owners can delete records. For a sitter who is not on the app, the Sitter & Walker Sheet shares the essentials as a PDF.

Is Snootly a replacement for my vet?

No. Snootly keeps your dog's records, routines and reminders in order, so the history is to hand when you need it. It does not diagnose or treat anything. If you are worried about your dog, contact your vet, or an emergency vet out of hours.

What can I keep in Pup Care?

Daily care routines, vaccinations, flea, tick and worm treatments, medications with a dose history, weight, vet appointments, your vet and emergency vets, insurance details, documents such as invoices and certificates, and a medical history of checkups, treatments and events.

Is Pup Care included in the membership?

Yes. Snootly Pro includes the whole app, so Pup Care, record scanning and the Sitter & Walker Sheet are all part of every plan.
